How is it that women composers and musicians are so underrepresented in music history?   

The UZH Musicology Association asked itself this question and contacted us in spring 2021. The initial impetus was the classic poster "Komponistentabelle" (composer table) by Musik Hug. Almost only male composers are listed on it. There are hardly any women* among them. Together we wanted to change this and give women* more visibility: in the form of a new poster on which only female composers or music masters* are to be seen.  

After weeks of research, graphic night shifts and sewing sessions at the ZHdK, we were able to present the poster for the first time on 26 November in the Helferei Chapel. The launch included a half-hour concert by the Mahogany Quartet playing a piece by composer Emilie Mayer. Afterwards, mavichan (F96) played and numerous posters were sold.
